Retreats
Private, serene, nature-rich
An invitation to pause, connect and nourish
Meet Move Eat – Seriously Social retreats are offered across the Tweed, Northern Rivers & beyond.
You’ll love a Meet, Move, Eat retreat if you are craving:
- A break from the daily grind - ditch the screen!
- A chance to leave worries behind and embrace the moment
- New friendships with like-minded souls
- Being active and clearing the mind
- A delicious, wholesome meal (or treat) that feeds your body and soul.
Our gatherings invite you to step out of everyday busyness and into a space designed for connection, gentle movement and deeply nourishing food. These are retreats for people seeking new friendships, laughter, shared stories and authentic conversation.
Why Pause
Life gets busy. We juggle work, family, deadlines, relationships and calendars with barely a moment to catch our breath. Stress only amplifies this, quietly draining our energy and resilience.
Giving yourself permission to pause, to rest, reset and rejuvenate alongside others, is like returning a dimmed lantern to the flame so it can glow brightly again. And if you’re craving a social escape that nurtures you while helping you build genuine, meaningful friendships, this is your moment.
When we move our bodies with kindness, eat food that truly supports us, rest deeply, laugh loudly, and share our experiences openly, we remember our strength. We rediscover ourselves.
This is your moment to step aside from the rush; to rest, reset and return home to yourself.
Group sizes depend on the venue, but generally speaking, we aim for more smaller and intimate group sizes to encourage inclusion and deeper connection and more focused facilitation.

What to Bring
On booking your retreat, we will send you a list of what to bring.
For the “Long Exhale” you may be asked to bring your swimmers, a towel, a hat and water bottle.
For all retreats we recommend you wear cool, loose clothing. We provide everything else – yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, blankets & eye pillows. BYO mat if you are attached to it.
At all retreats we provide healthy snacks and drinks, and at The Long Exhale, a wholesome vegetarian lunch and all the tools you will need for a rejuvenating and joyful retreat.
Nourishment
The simple ritual of sharing food invites warmth, trust and conversation, making it one of the most effortless ways to form meaningful connections.
Our menus are vegetarian (and often vegan), freshly prepared by qualified Ayurvedic Chef Bryony Morgan using home-grown herbs, seasonal produce and Australian native ingredients.
Every dish is intentional, aligned with the seasons, digestive wellness, and the way food impacts mood and energy in midlife. Vegan, wholefood and allergy-friendly options are always available.
Please advise at booking of any dietary requirements.
Please note, our retreats are drug & alcohol free.

Movement
Our sessions draw from yin & hatha mindful movement traditions and dance.
Expect accessible, slow, nurturing practices suitable for all levels, especially those returning to movement after time away. Chair yoga is as good as floor yoga for bringing energy to tight or tense muscles.
Meditations are simple and grounding, offering a gentle way to reconnect with your breath, your inner calm and your body with kindness. And the head massage sends everyone into the next dimension!
No matter where you are in your movement journey, it’s about your body awareness and moving within your limits. We provide options to move; you choose how far.
Other Activities
Retreat offerings may include:
- Creative journaling
- Art workshops
- Massage
- Ayurvedic food wisdom
- Pool, river or ocean dips
- Nature walks
- Free dance
- Breathwork
- Sharing circles
- Laughter workshops
Building a Community
After each retreat, we invite participants to remain connected through an optional WhatsApp group, a shared space for the community to organically reconnect, suggest walks or active outings, and gather socially in ways that feel natural and supportive.
For those who prefer a quieter connection, our bi-monthly newsletter offers gentle touchpoints, shared stories, tips to stay grounded and motivated to keep moving as well as upcoming retreats and opportunities to continue nurturing wellbeing and belonging.
