The Heart Behind Meet Move Eat

We’re two fun-loving women who are passionate about health and wellbeing. We believe that as we age, keeping our bodies moving and staying connected with others, face-to-face and in genuine ways, is essential for feeling good inside and out.

Hi, I’m Bry

I’ve been a yoga teacher for 25 years, Ayurvedic practitioner and chef, and lifelong lover of movement, creativity, and the natural rhythms that guide us (including the ones written in the stars).

Yoga has shaped how I live and how I meet the world. I believe the way we show up on the mat is a quiet rehearsal for how we show up in life- with presence, curiosity, and a sense of
humour when things get wobbly.

My training has taken me from the US and Mexico to India and Indonesia, deepening my understanding of yoga’s universal nature and its quiet power to transform. Now as both teacher and chef, I bring these passions together in our Meet Move Eat retreats.

Here in the Northern Rivers, I get to nourish you with colourful, seasonal food and guide you through movement that calms, strengthens and reconnects you with yourself. My hope is that you leave each retreat feeling lighter in spirit, fuller in heart, and more at home in your body.

Hi, I’m Lis

My yoga journey started rather unglamorously, with a nasty case of Delhi Belly.

Thirty years ago, I stumbled into a tiny ashram in Rishikesh, half-delirious and hoping for a place to lie down. I signed up for a 15-day yoga course on a whim. What followed changed the trajectory of my life.

I fell in love with the slow honesty of hatha, the dancing rhythm of vinyasa, and the quiet power of simply breathing and being present. Somewhere between downward dogs and dahl and rice, I found a way of living that felt like coming home.

Decades later, that accidental detour is still my compass. I choose sunrise meditations over nightclubs, forest trails over city noise, and real, colourful food over anything in a packet.

Friends say I help people feel seen, safe and quietly brave. They also generously accept my silly side. I love a belly laugh. Nothing heals quite like laughter that leaves your cheeks aching and your heart wide open.

Meet Move Eat is my invitation to pause the madness and reconnect with what matters: joyful movement, beautiful food, honest conversation and the wisdom we gain from simply being together. Whether we’re flowing beneath the trees, sharing long-table meals or sitting in stillness a little longer than usual, this is a space to soften, rediscover and breathe.

That first yoga course changed my life. Along with a career in communications, marketing and event management and more recently yoga teaching & breathwork, Meet Move Eat retreats is a joyful salad of my skills, experience and passion for our collective health and wellbeing.  I can wait to share this special experience with you.
